lovelovegoddess: (a simple smile)
This day was better than Christmas, her birthday, and Valentine's Day combined and it wasn't even over yet.  It hadn't even happened more than once.  Bah, technicalities could go soak their head today.  It was her anniversary.  One whole year with Karen.  Life was amazing.

Minako had found tickets to an orchestra concert in Tokyo on Karen's world with some luck (and shameless flirting with the right, cute parties in the box office) and as they stepped back into the house afterward, she cautiously asked, "What did you think?"

Elizabeth, Minako, and K' were introduced to each other in mere seconds.  In fact, it could have been less than that since they only nodded to the other as a signal to go.  Formal introductions could wait and so much time had already been lost.  Nill could already be--best not to think that way, who knew what would happen if that turned out to be the case, better to leave it as the undealt with question that loomed larger than life in the tense silence between them.

They arrived in front of the imposing church (Elizabeth had seemed to know by instinct, and Minako nor K' were going to ask how) alert and ready to strike at a moment's notice.  She had said her caretaker--Bishop, that was his name--was gone.  Only a cat greeted them at the door by sitting down and nonchalantly licking its paw.  Better to leave the affairs of humans to humans was his motto and he had managed to stick to it for several years.  A tan man, a blonde girl, and a white-haired woman were not going to change his mind.

Another unspoken question as they looked at one another.  Who was going to find Nill and who was going to make sure Zero was kept at bay if he had decided to stick around?

While waking up in an unfamiliar house , in an entirely different world, and handcuffed to someone Minako had just met seemed frightening at first, it wasn't so bad.  Rena was a very nice girl and they had a very well set plan for the day ahead.

But none of it could start without a good meal.  Breakfast was the most important meal of the week, after all!

Rena led the way to the kitchen, pointing out all the particulars of the house on the way there.  Where the bathrooms were, exits, those kind of important things.  In no time at all, they stood at the entrance to a comfortable looking kitchen and dining area.  Rena looked particularly proud of how clean everything was.

Minako eyed the stove with glee.  "Is that new?" she squeaked.

Minako rearranged her bow for the fifth time in ten minutes.  She knew she was driving her mother crazy with her fidgeting, but this was a date!  She had to look her best!

Artemis was sending one of his well-used disapproving looks her way.  There had been a long talk about going out on dates with people she hadn't met before (with a person on the internet, no less!), how she could be in danger, how irresponsible she could be sometimes, and plenty of other things she couldn't remember right now.  Convincing him that she would be perfectly fine took most of the night, and only then with certain conditions to it.  He meant well, he really did, but he could be such a bother sometimes.

Relax, he said he'd meet you at the door.  He'll be here.  She took a deep breath.  It would be fine.

Maybe she should fix her bow again.

((OOC: Backdated to last night.  Sorry if this set-up sucks, first time setting up a RL.))
